The DA is set to launch a new constituency under the leadership of Nosimo Balindlela in Stutterheim in preparation for the 2014 election campaign.
The event will take place on Saturday, 23 February 2013.

Now is the time to make our voice heard and take a stand against the Protection of State Information Bill.
We would like to appeal to everyone to attend the respective public hearings in their area to participate in public hearings which will be taking place across the Eastern Cape starting this Thursday, 2 February 2012 from 9am to 4pm.

The Democratic Alliance in the Buffalo City Metro spent Heritage Day at the Ubukosi Cultural Village just outside King Williams Town to learn more about the history of King Sandile of the Rharhabe. BCMM Constituency Leader, Stuart Farrow said Heritage Day was meant for celebrating the country’s cultural diversity and to unify all South Africans as one.

A very successful DA sponsored soccer knock-out tournament between eight local soccer teams from the Amahlathi Municipality took place on Heritage Day, Saturday, 24 September 2011 on the Amatolaville Fields. Cllr Julia Gxalaba, Cllr Taki Kyriacos and MPL Dacre Haddon opened the Games in cold and drizzly weather.

Following a terrible incident at Gcobani Intermediate Public School in Cambridge Township in which a pupil was bitten by a snake, Deputy Principal, Ms Tsolekile approached DA ward councillor, Dinesh Vallabh for assistance.
Cllr Vallabh has arranged for the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality to chop down the overgrown bushes and cut the grass in the school grounds which created the ideal breeding ground for snakes.
